English Flowers by Heather is a small, sustainable flower farm based in Milnthorpe, South Cumbria. I grow seasonal British flowers without chemicals or pesticides, and I offer floristry work alongside the flowers I grow — from bouquets and arrangements to wedding designs and event flowers — all created with a focus on quality, freshness, and natural beauty
While not certified organic, all flowers are grown without chemicals, with a focus on encouraging a healthy ecosystem and sustainable practices.
We grow a wide range of seasonal flowers, herbs, and foliage. Availability changes naturally throughout the year, with each season offering its own colours, textures, and scents. Everything is grown outdoors or in unheated tunnels, so the flowers reflect the rhythm of the British growing season.
Both. We supply florists with wholesale stems and buckets, and we also offer bouquets, jam jar arrangements, and DIY buckets for weddings, events, and everyday flowers.
Yes, DIY flower buckets are perfect for weddings and events. You can contact Heather directly to discuss seasonal availability and custom orders.
I also do bridal work for small scale weddings, whether that be bridal bouquets, button holes or table arrangements. For larger events I supplement my flowers using other British flower farms.

For weddings or large orders, it’s best to book several weeks in advance - especially during peak wedding season (May–September).
For bouquets and jam jar arrangements, I ask for two days notice so I can cut and condition the flowers ahead of arranging. If you need something quicker please drop me a message and I can see how I can help.’
